What determines car wrap cost?
A comparison is only useful when the coverage, material and preparation are comparable. Use this checklist to understand a wrap proposal.
Compare the same surfaces.
A full exterior proposal can differ from a project that includes door jambs, trim and inner returns. Ask for an explicit coverage list. A short quote that does not identify these details may be describing a different job.
Describe the starting condition.
Old film, adhesive, paint repairs and visible defects can change the preparation conversation. Share these early. A photo can start an assessment, but the actual surface may still need inspection.
Separate material and finish choices.
Satin, chrome, printed graphics and other directions should be compared using the exact material rather than color names alone. Ask what is selected, what is available and which care instructions apply.
Ask about the complete scope.
